That was quick...a quick shot of white coating in West Akron, but the snow's headed out already. Treated roads are OK...
Be careful out there...the winds out there now in West Akron are creating some blowing snow while this is still here.
NWS has cancelled the Wind Advisory: "...sustained winds should remain below the 31-39 mph range with most gusts below 46 mph. "
Snowflakes are now flying at the Akron Radio Center on West Market Street...but radar shows this won't be here for long.

That accident on Route 8 NORTHBOUND past Perkins has been cleared...just in time for regular afternoon rush hour traffic to fill in.

Route 8 NORTHBOUND is a near parking lot again, a crash just past the Perkins exit. You're backed up to the Central Interchange.
Good news out of CAK: Southwest Airlines announces Akron/Canton is one of 22 AirTran cities staying aboard their network....
In Norton: The exit ramp will be CLOSED on Rt. 21 NB at Rt. 585 until noon. Crews will be cleaning up the roads.
